The Helio gene gun is a convenient portable device for rapid and direct in-situ gene transfer of cells.The system USES an adjustable pulse of helium gas to drive gold particles of DNA, RNA or other biomaterials prepacked on the inside of a small plastic tube directly into a cell.The in-tube "bullet" can be easily prepared using the sample control station.
